Yanan Wang

Yanan Wang is a young Chinese violist currently studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich with Professor Hariolf Schlichtig and Professor Roland Glassl. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at the Mozarteum University Salzburg under Professor William Coleman. In 2022, Wang was awarded second prize at the Hindemith Competition and received a Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now scholarship in 2023. She is an active chamber musician and recently began her position as principal violist with the Munich Rundfunk Orchestra.
